Meet the Staff

Mrs. Janine Ashbridge
Janine is a Ridley Park native and still lives in Ridley Park with her family.  Her two grown daughters attended the Nursery School.  She brings her patience and kindness to four of our Playgroup classes and one Nursery class..

Mrs. Kristen Axe
Kristen is a Ridley HS grad who has a Bachelors and a Masters degree in education.  Her two daughters attended the Nursery School and are in High School and College now. She is busy following their sports and activities as well as teaching three Nursery Classes at RPPCNS. ​

Mrs. Lauren Brydges
Lauren lives in Milmont Park with her husband and four children.  She has a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Education.  She taught in the Upper Darby School District before having her children. She is a busy Mom with all of her children's activities and is excited to be part of the Staff of RPPCNS.  She works with two PreK classes.

Mrs. Carol Dunn
Carol lives in  Ridley Park and is a graduate of Millersville University.  She has two grown children and has had her two grandchildren in class at Nursery School.  Her five day PreK class is well loved and there are usually siblings and even children of her former students enrolled each year.  She is a member of RPPC.

Mrs. Holly Goldsborough
Holly has the dual position at RPPCNS of being the Office manager three days a week and also teaching a PreK Class.  Holly has a masters degree in Education and taught in elementary school, like most of our teachers,  before coming to this position.   Her daughter attended the Nursery School and is now in Middle School.  Holly is on the Norwood Library Board.

​Mrs. Annemarie Green
Annemarie is the energetic aide in a PreK and two Nursery classes.  Her two daughters and one son attended the Nursery School and are now an RN, in college, and serving in the Marines.  You can often see Annemarie riding her bike or running around the neighborhood.

​Mrs. Kathy Hunter
Kathy has the distinction of being the teacher that has been at the Nursery School the longest.  She attended Penn State and is a Ridley Park resident and member of RPPC.  Her son and daughter attended the Nursery School.  She is a dog lover and gourmet cook.

Mrs. Sheri Keen
Sheri is well known for the amazing Art projects and Art Show.  She is a graduate of DCCC and Temple University Tyler School of Art with an AA and BFA in graphic design.. Sheri has two daughters, one of which attended our Nursery School.  She also serves as a trustee  on the board of the Norwood Public Library.

Mrs. Patricia Kessler
Pat has been Co-Director of the Nursery School for 12 years.  Her two grown sons attended the Nursery School and her husband Ken can also be seen around the school helping with repairs and projects as a member of the "Busy Bodies" men's group..  She is an active Penn State Alumna and also has a Masters Degree from SUNY.  She  currently lives in Folsom.


​Mrs. Carrie Luyt
Carrie is a Ridley Park resident who has had two children, a daughter and a son, attend the Nursery School.  She is  a member of RPPC. Carrie is also a member of the Friends of Ridley Park Library. She is an aide in Nursery and in  PreK classes.

Mrs. Diane Marsich
Diane spends her days in a Playgroup class and two Nursery classes. She is a Ridley grad and has had one son and two daughters attend the Nursery School.  She is busy following her three children to various activities and sports.  She loves the shore and spends many summer days there.

Mrs. Carli McCrea
Carli is working with the 5 Day PreK AM class and also a PM PreK class.  She is very active in her community of Leedom and coaches T-ball each year.  She has three sons who attended the Nursery School .

Mrs. Lynn McGarrigle
Lynn has been with our Playgroup since its early days.  She currently works in three Playgroup classes.and one PreK class.  She is an active member of Our Lady of Peace church and has coached volleyball teams for CYO.  Lynn and her husband have three children.

Mrs. Amanda McNamee
When you call the Nursery School, Amanda could be the voice you hear.  She will be helping out in the office and substituting in our classrooms.  She resides in Ridley Park and her daughter and son attended the Nursery School.  She is an active parent at Leedom School and the surrounding community.

Mrs. Mary Anne Patterson
Mary Anne is known to all of our students as the God's time and Music teacher.  She spends many hours preparing the classes for Christmas and End-of-Year Programs.  She is a Ridley Park resident who has had a son and daughter attend the Nursery School.

​Mrs. Beth Robinson
Beth is Co-Director of the Nursery School and teaches two Nursery Classes.  Her daughter and two sons attended the Nursery School.  She is an active member of the Ridley Park Presbyterian Church. She lives in Springfield with her husband Kevin and family.  Beth is a Ridley grad and attended Towson State University as an undergrad and got her Masters Degree from West Chester.

Mrs. Janet Spicer
Janet is one of our Playgroup teachers. She is a Ridley Park resident and active member of RPPC.  Her son, grandson and granddaughters attended the Nursery School.  Janet can always be seen helping at any event at RPPC.

​Mrs. Karen Strazdus
Karen is a Padua and  West Chester graduate.  She has twins, a daughter and a son, who attended the Nursery School and are recent college graduates.  Karen is a board member at Ice Works and participates in planning figure skating events.  Karen teaches both PreK and Nursery classes.

Mrs. Jennifer Sweeney
Jen works with a Playgroup class and a PreK class.   Jen is an experienced teacher and has been at Nursery School for several years.  She is a Folsom resident and has had a son and a daughter attend the Nursery School.
